The contest is now closed. Thank you to everyone who entered. Our top five winners will be announced on our weekly Substack newsletter this coming Monday, May 11, and will be posted on CommuterLit this coming week. If you didn’t make our top five, we’ll now consider your entries as General Submissions, and you’ll be hearing from us shortly. If you do not want your entry to be considered a General Submissions, please withdraw it yourself through your Submittable account.

Our next contest is our Flash Fiction Week 2026 contest, and our Drabble of the Month contest is on going. You can read about both here.
