What’s happening this summer

We’re off on our summer hiatus. Our next post and  newsletter will be Tuesday, September 4. Here’s a round up of contributor events and launches, and a sneak peak of a book by CL editor and publisher Nancy Kay Clark, which will launch in the fall.

Gail Murray is among those organizing the Brooklin Poetry Society’s Inaugural Poetry Contest. The deadline is Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

Patty Somlo will be reading from her new book, Hairway to Heaven Stories, at Copperfield’s Books in Santa Rosa, California on July 31, 2018, at 7:00 p.m.

Diane Simpson‘s short story, “Steel for Bones” has been accepted for publishing in the Avalon Literary Review. The issue is due out in October of this year.

CL editor and publisher Nancy Kay Clark‘s middle-grade novel The Prince of Sudland: Escape from the Palace will officially launch in Fall 2018, but you can get the flavour of this fantasy adventure story for kids of all ages by listening to an audio podcast of the author reading the first chapter.

Have a great summer! Talk to you in the Fall.
