WEDNESDAY: Sportsman

He likes
To kick;
They like
To watch.
He is
The statue at
The bend in
The river and
They are the
Droplets rushing
Past so fast they
Cannot grasp
Stick or stone.
When he kicks the
Ball they gasp and
Scream and sigh.
They are sodden.
He is silhouetted.
