Dinnick, Michelle

Michelle is an award-winning author and poet. Most recently, in April 2018, two of her entries won the Ontario Writers Conference Story Starters Contest. She writes both fiction and nonfiction, and her work has appeared in the Globe and Mail and several other newspapers and magazines. She is a contributing author in the most recent Chicken Soup for the Soul: The Spirit of Canada (2017), and a quarter finalist in the 2017 ScreenCraft Short Screenplay contest. Michelle’s fictional series “Lightning Strikers: Take me Out to The Ball Game” runs monthly in the Focus 50 Plus newspaper. It started as a short story, but fans asked for more! Michelle just completed her 10-part non-fiction series “Spotlight on Hospice” for Focus 50 Plus newspaper. Michelle has a B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and is a professional member of the Canadian Authors Association.
