Cook, Jenise

Jenise Cook began writing as a child. She has returned to creative writing while working as a business writer and instructional designer. She experiments with flash fiction and short stories in cozy mystery, magical realism, and crime/thriller. She has two novels living on her hard drive, begging for fresh air and freedom. Publications include CommuterLit, Lost Pen Magazine, and Post Card Shorts. Jenise, her husband, and their herding dog live in northern Arizona, and they enjoy the outdoors and photography. You can subscribe to her newsletter at and connect with her @jenisecook on Twitter.
