Melissa Miles was born in the U.S., but lives in Aotearo, N.Z. After many professional iterations, acting, film-making, horse rescuing, she has recently settled on writing, which she does in her cottage overlooking the seaport Lyttelton, where she lives with her partner and menagerie.
An emerging writer, Melissa has had fiction and poetry published in online magazines: Ariel Chart; Short Story Town; The Big Purple Wall; amongst others, and now, CommuterLit.
Her work can also be found in anthologies; The Lost Librarian’s Grave by Redwood Press; The Whole Wide World by Sweetycatpress; Around The World Landscapes and Cityscapes by Sweetycatpress; and others, available on Amazon; and on the podcast White ENSO.
She is presently working on her second novel.
