Mel Massey practiced international commercial law in Ottawa until he retired recently to nuture his enthusiasm for creative writing and outdoor sports, full time. He likes to write fleshy and imaginative pieces in short formats and is working towards a collection of his best work. He was fortunate to win first place in Carleton University’s Writing Competition.
