FRIDAY NOTES & NEWS: How to Support CommuterLit

If you like CommuterLit and what we do, and want to support us, please consider upgrading your CL newsletter subscription to paid. Now initially, that won’t gain you anything more than the free newsletter you enjoy right now, but in January 2027 we’ll be launching the CommuterLit Weekender newsletter for paid subscribers, which will feature serialized longer-form stories, as well as extras such as author Q&As, Book Reviews and publishing and writing craft insights from the editor.

Our goal is to reach 50 paid subscribers by January 2027 — that way we can start paying Weekender contributors. Subscribe here.

If you can’t afford to upgrade to paid right now, we understand, and no worries — you’ll continue receiving our free CommuterLit Weekly newsletter every Monday morning.

Other no-cost ways of supporting CommuterLit include recommending CommuterLit on your Substack account; and following us and liking our posts on facebook and Instagram.

We’ll let you know how our “50-paid Subscribers by January” campaign is going.
