TUESDAY: Flowers

What a lovely melody.
It slipped from her mouth
and swam through the air,
each note creating energy in the atmosphere.
I caught some in my cup of tea.
It blended beautifully with the jasmine.
I inhaled its sweetness.
I felt the pressure of the ballad through my body.
It weighed on me like a freshly washed blanket,
and smelled like flowers.
Slowly,
it slipped through my smile
and back into the air.
Its brightness blinded me.
I lost sight of the music.
But the sweetness of the melody remained.
always.
