Teixeira, Sheila

Sheila Teixeira is a creative writer. Her articles, Breast Cancer, Four Journeys and Untying the Last Thread were published in fashion weekly, an online fashion magazine. She has been published in various chapbooks, and anthologies, and co-authored Temple of Light, a book of poems about the Sharon Temple. Sheila is a member of The Markham Village Writers and is currently working on her first novel.

Kaarina Stiff grew up in Toronto and earned a diploma in print journalism from Centennial College. After a brief stint as a staff writer for a chain of community newspapers, she returned to school and graduated from Carleton University (Bachelor of Arts, History and Political Science) and the University of Waterloo (Master of Environmental Studies). For the past 13 years she has toiled in various government offices, and now writes for pleasure in her spare time. She lives in Ottawa.
