Irene LofthouseIrene Lofthouse is an author, playwright, writing tutor, storyteller, actor, and creative catalyst. She is Writer in residence with First Story, and has published two collections of children’s short stories: Strange Tales in the Dales and Strange Tales in Bradford Dale.She has also edited, published and contributed to the anthology Stories from Stone (all on Amazon). Her work appears on canal gates; on giant puppets; in exhibitions; on lamp-posts, in anthologies and online, and is one of the 100 writers on https://twitter.com/IWM_Centenary/. She’s taken a one-woman show to Edinburgh (4*),  appeared in films, on TV and radio, and is currently touring her one-woman show “Words, Women & War: Forgotten Female Voices of the Great War’.” She is a walker, dreamer, maker, and thinker.
