Sandra Marie Lewis is a grandmother, a writer, a family history buff and a gardener. She loves to make people laugh and in writing to incorporate mirth with empathy. She has authored a children’s novel, an adult novel based on her family’s ancestry, many short stories and personal narratives and a touch of poetry. Serious writing began when her teaching career with Toronto’s public school system ended in 1997 after a stint of 32 years.
