Brian Henry has been a book editor, creative writing instructor, and writer for more than 25 years. Brian teaches at Ryerson University in Toronto and leads weekly creative writing classes in Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and Georgetown. He’s also led creative writing workshops everywhere from Boston to Buffalo and from Sarnia to Charlottetown. But his proudest boast is that he has helped many of his students get published and launch their careers as authors.
Brian has edited books for various publishers in Canada and the United States. He has reviewed books for The Toronto Star and Books in Canada. He’s written numerous opinion pieces for The Toronto Star, The National Post, The Canadian Jewish News, and the Jewish Tribune. He’s the author of a juvenile version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. And he’s very happy to be contributing to CommuterLit.
Brian also publishes Quick Brown Fox, Canada’s most popular blog for writers. Quick Brown Fox includes information about agents looking for authors, writing contests, markets for your writing, and other great stuff for writers.
