Laurie Gardiner, writer and mom of three, lives in Cambridge, Ontario with her husband of 26 years. Her job as a personal support worker specializing in dementia inspired her to write her recently completed first novel. Several of her poems have been published in anthologies and her short story, “‘Til Death Do Us Part,” placed first in the Cambridge Writers Collective. She’s currently enrolled in the Creative Writing program at Conestoga College and looks forward to a new career in writing.
