Evans, Jayne

Jayne Evans As a child, Jayne Evans wrote furiously, then life took over including relocating to Canada from Sheffield, England in 2002. Her passion for writing was rekindled when she found a Toronto newspaper clipping that told the tragic story of her young uncle who immigrated to Canada 1929 and died a year later in Toronto at the age of 18. The story inspired her to begin writing again and has provided the inspiration for her first novel which she is currently working on.

Jayne teaches at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario, and lives near Brantford. “The Message” is her first published short story.
