Michelle Dinnick is a freelance writer who writes both fiction, non-fiction and poetry. She is a regular contributor to the Briar Crier Magazine, and has had her work featured recently in the Voice of the Farmer newspaper, and the Focus 50+ newspaper. In April 2016, she was shortlisted as a finalist in the Ontario Writers Conference Story Starters contest.
She writes poetry for an artist friend, Antonio Lampreia, who incorporates her poetry into his paintings, and they have participated in several juried art exhibitions together.
Michelle is a member of the South Simcoe Arts Council Wordsmiths; members meet regularly to encourage each other and critique each other’s writing.
