Dick, Francine

Francine-DickFrancine Dick was born in Toronto, Canada, where she still lives. As a Certified Financial Planner, her mission in life is to help families achieve peace of mind, and women a secure financial future. As a writer, her mission is to explore the lives of her characters.

Francine is also a playwright and is a member of The Alumnae Theatre’s New Play Development group. Her short play, Summer’s End, was published in the Playwrights Canada Press book, Long Story Short, and was presented at the New Ideas Festival. Wedding Night In Canada was a hit at the Toronto Fringe Festival in 2010. Keep your eyes out for her soon to be published financial feel-good book, Enjoy Your Latte.

A strong community activist, Francine was the recipient of the Canada 125 Medal and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her service. As a believer in living a balanced life, she also takes time to hike throughout southern Ontario, and to travel the world.
