Corinne Clark works in the criminal justice system by day and writes gaslamp fantasy in her free time. She is completing her final project to get her certificate in creative writing from the University of Toronto’s School of Continuing Education. The excerpt posted on CL is from her young adult novel-in-progress called The Haunting of Charlotte Blackwood. It is set in the Seven Dials, a notorious London slum, in the 1840s. She is hoping to have a first draft of the entire manuscript finished by the end of this year.
