Becoy, Ann

Ann BecoyAnn Bekooy (Becoy) is a multi-talented artist in the domains of singer, songwriter and storyteller. Ann has performed in many venues in both Montreal and Toronto since the early 1990s. Recently, Ann published her first book, Memoirs of a Hippie Girl in India, which recounts her mis-adventures as a teenage drug smuggler in India in the early 1970s.

Ann is indeed an “old hippie” who has lived a marginal life (lived in a Tipi and on a commune) and raised two children as a single mom. She currently calls Toronto home and continues writing truth-inspired stories about the human condition.

Ann’s nom de plume is Ann BeCoy and her book can be found on Amazon.
