Marisa Baratta is passionate about writing YA novels. She spends three hours a day commuting to and from work by bus, subway, streetcar and on foot, which gives her ample time to devour as many books as she can. After branching out into poetry, she spent four years writing university essays to obtain her English degree before completing a post-grad certificate in publishing.
When she’s not working as an online editor or freelancing for magazines, she can be found spending time with loved ones, walking outside or cuddling with her cat. She blogs with her writers’ group on all things writing, publishing and YA here.
