Bev Bachmann taught high school English to adult students in the Toronto/Peel areas for many years. During her time as a teacher, she read every Agatha Christie mystery available in Canada. That led her eventually to try writing one herself. The result was Christmas Touches, a novel in which a psychopath strikes every year in the week leading up to Christmas. Since then she has published a second murder mystery, Student Body (2017), which takes places in a Toronto high school.
Bev lives in Mississauga with her Australian terrier Maddie and her cyclist enthusiast husband, John.
