Watts, David

David Watts

Since retiring from government service in 2010, David Watts has been able to devote his attention to writing. Love of words and how they work has been a life-long passion, even while he made his career as a professional photographer.

To focus on perfecting his craft, he has attended numerous workshops, one Creative Writing – Short Fiction course from the University of New Brunswick, and he completed an online course in Creative Writing – Fiction from the University of Iowa.

He is a founding member of a local writers’ group, and is one of three who organize and administer a regular poetry (and other) public reading series.
