Shannon Selin lives in Vancouver, Canada. Her short story “A Petition for the Emperor” appears in the Autumn 2013 edition of The Copperfield Review. Her novel, Napoleon in America, which explores what might have happened had Napoleon Bonaparte escaped from exile on St. Helena and wound up in the United States in 1821, will be published in early 2014.
