Rocks, Susan

Susan Rocks lives in semi-rural Dorset in the South of England. She has been writing seriously for six years, having only dabbled previously whilst
bringing up two children.

To date, Susan has had published one poem, “That Night In The Park” in the Forward Poetry anthology’s One Week Poetry Challenge! and several short
stories:

“Consequences” and “Wednesday’s Child” — Down In The Dirt magazine
“A Bit of Harmless Fun” — first prize winner, Writing Magazine 1000 words
competition
“Neighbourhood Watch” — short-listed Wordsmag competition
“Creepy Killers Can’t Climb Stairs” — placed in Words with Jam/Bookmuse Genre Spoof competition October 2014. Published in Bookmuse Readers’
Journal

“Burnt Potatoes” — short-listed Wordsmag competition
“A Better Life?” — published in the Writers’ Bureau 30th anniversary
anthology.

Susan finished the first draft of her first novel The Butterfly Effect this
summer and is now busy editing it.
