Quigley, Derville

Derville Quigley is an Irish writer based in the Netherlands. Her short stories have been published in The Ogham Stone, The Garfield Lake Review, Beyond Words, and CommuterLit.

Her play Cat and Dog People featured as part of a 10×10 sold-out run at Cork Arts Theatre. She has given readings at the University of Limerick and for the Inkpods podcast.

Derville graduated with an MA in Screen Arts and, as an award-winning filmmaker, has written and directed short films and documentaries for the Arts Council Northern Ireland, BBC and Channel 4. Currently, she manages communications for ELIA, a European network of art schools, and is co-founder of Strange Birds, a migratory writing collective based in Amsterdam. dervillequigley.net
